Ok, a bit of a rant here. Maybe it's just me or my workplace but I feel like showing initiative at work here gets you nowhere. If fact, it seems to do just the opposite. And I am not talking about taking significant license with anything, just what would be considered being responsible in my job elsewhere. Do any of you find this to be the case? My colleagues feel the same, and we all come from different nationalities and work experiences.
