Unfortunately we don't get Etisalat in our area and Du are having all sorts of issues connecting us. Does satellite tv have to go through one of these or is it separate? Sorry, I have no idea on things like this :) You need to get clear about what you have - we have Du Box and then OSN with them and pay an extra 49 dhs or similar for a package for our maid...

My husband has been in Qatar for work so I said I would see what I could organise. We live in a villa. I just need to know if there is a company I can call who can organise a satellite dish installation for us? What you now need to do is to go on the main forum and see if anyone can recommend a company that installs satellite dishes..

Sorry, I have no idea on things like this :) Satellite TV is not connected to Etisalat or Du but you need a dish. You need to find out if you have one.

I think satellite television is suitable. She may even find some channels that broadcast Bollywood and/or Tamil movies. I do not think that the satellite has any channels in Sinhalese...

We have just employed a new live in maid and wanting to organise a tv for her. What have other people done for their maids? I was thinking her local channels (she's Sri Lankan)? Approached OSN yesterday about another box and they gave me a price of $111 per month for their basic package. I have a recordable box through DU and only pay 250AED for internet and certain channels? Do you have Etilsilat or Du?
