Hello everyone :)I hope someone can help me with THAT question, you know about schools. I have gone through some of the previous threads trying to get answers from there but find that most of them relate to schools on the opposite side of the UAE that we will be in. I will be bringing 3 children (8,12 & 13) from Australia to Qatar & am wondering what would be the easiest curriculum for them to understand, British or American?
Also the youngest one does have mild learning/behavioral difficulties. Does anyone else have a child with learning difficulties & if you do then what has been your experience when it comes to enrolling your child & assistance available at the school?
Also what is peoples experiences when it comes to the school you are sending your child to? Any references or preferences?
Thank you in advance for any assistance ;)

Hi aussie182, We have recently moved to Qatar with 3 kids also (11,6,4). They go to the International School of London which is an IB school and they love it. We moved from Ireland so it is totally different from home. You might try and repost in the Qatar forum, more people may see it and if you search schools in the Qatar forum you will find lots of posts. Some of them will scare you with talks of long lists and no places. There is a thread on there currently about learning difficulties. We got the three of ours into the same school with no difficulties, although I think it depends on the school. ISL was our first choice and we are really happy with it. Have you contacted any schools yet? Hope this helps. Jen

Have I posted this in the right part of the forum or should I have posted it in another section?
