Got the shock of my life this morning seeing a woman interviewing a maid in Starbucks !! lol I heard every word.... omg :-o I kind of assumed you would do it in your own home and certainly not in public where people can hear everything...

It's a neutral place. Doesn't seem so odd to not want to have a stranger in your home. It's not like it's a company. and you don't feel there's a need for privacy at all ? No! It's like like I'm asking her how she'd wash my knickers! Lol!!!!!!! I interviewed maids in the food court at the mall ... Ive been intereviewed by a head hunter in the lobby of the westin and emirates towers .. people do it all the time

A lady regularly interviews candidates for the company she works for in the coffee shop of my building. I have also heard her telephone candidates telling them about the job and arranging interviews. Mind you from what she seems to be offering (commission only) and her manner makes me certain I won't be applying anytime soon!

Privacy from what? People have "business" meetings and lunches all the time.
