Dear all,
my DH has received an employment offer, we are now however confused about the resignation period.
He works in an government school which is officially on an Eid break till the 10th of July. My husbands annual leave is till the 5th of August.
My question is, can he resign on the 10th of July and in case he does would a notice period of 30 days apply? I would highly appreciate feedback on the above as it is very unclear at this stage and we don't want to loose the opportunity but at the same time, he doesn't want any trouble with his current employer either.
There have been several rumours on the company forcing their employees to stay for 3-6 months and even penelizing them. I personally don't believe in those but better safe than being sorry.
Has anyone got experience on the above?
