You can try doing heat treatment yourself. Iron the mattress seams thoroughly on high heat. You can also try using your hairdryer at a high heat setting, placing the nozzle right on the seam. If you have a steamer that would work even better. This has helped me in the past and is much safer than using chemicals. Also, vaccum all the corners around the bedframe. Goodluck! Hope you get rid of them soon.

Thanks Jane =) But they do not stock the masque I need.. Jeano - Thanks for offering the samples. I am not really using anti-aging creams at the moment cuz I already use Retin-A which is quite strong. So if someone else would like to have them - that's okay. Thanks a lot though.. how sweet of you to offer =)

We stayed on the Orchard Road..that's where all the malls are so it was convenient to grab something to eat, etc. The tourist office was just across the road from us and they were very helpful. It's a very lively area and you will always find a cab or a bus when you need one. We stayed at the Mandarin Orchard Hotel. With kids, the bird park is a must-see. The night safari was great too...and the zoo was just okay. Also visit the Singapore flyer. I would skip little India - too chaotic and crowded... edited by Lady_SilverX on 14/05/2013

Highly recommend Image skincare line.. If you have someone coming in from the US.. you can order them via skincarebyalana.com.. It's a LOT cheaper than buying it from out here..

I'm sorry I do not know any company you can contact out here. But I was wondering if contacting hospitals in the UK might be an option? They are likely to get the travel documentation more easily than nurses out here..

Avocado is great for dry hair. After you shampoo, apply avocado paste to your hair (avoiding the scalp). Let it sit for about 15 minutes - then wash it off and apply your hair conditioner and rinse. Don't worry if the hair seems greasy while wet.. this goes away once you dry your hair. Alternatively, you could get some avocado oil and use it before you shampoo.

We stayed at the Mirage last year.. we really liked it! The rooms were clean and well-decorated. It wasn't too hard on the wallet either. I'd definitely recommend staying there. However, if your budget allows it, Aria is pretty sleek and new.

I tried it for a while. I really like it but I am not willing to eat lean meat (being vegetarian) - so, although I did lose weight, I would have seen better results had I not been vegetarian. One thing I continue to do is avoid fruit juice. Its made a huge difference!! I highly recommend reading 'The Paleo Solution' by Robb Wolf. You could also just visit his website. Very informative.

I've always maintained that Glambox is pretty good... but NOT anymore! Don't know if they have a new management or something (??) but they are going downhill at top speed! They've increased their prices with no substantial improvement in the box contents. Also, the glampoints are now useless. A friend of mine wanted to use hers and she was told that you can only use points to pay for 20% of the total value of what you buy. Such a shame! Hopefully, competitors will exploit this opportunity.

I love the Rockstar soap and the Snowcake... They used to make the Lily Savon soap but stopped making it couple of years ago.. which is sad 'cuz it smelt amazingly feminine! I also like the 9 to 5 facial cleanser - which again- smells divine... Absolutely love the Buffy bar! I even like their toothy tabs =) the rose flavored one..

My experience this week. Go to The One, buy a unit - choose delivery time. Yesterday I get a call saying delivery will be tomorrow at agreed time. This morning I get a call saying we are on our way and will be there in 20 mins - arrive at the exact time and deliver item in perfect condition. They even leave the packing for the glass so I can use it for when we pack it back up tomorrow. It's not all bad here in Dubai ;-) Refreshing to read this..!

Yeah, but they only let you subscribe for 3-months minimum. So it's AED 150 for a 3-month subscription. I think they recently started the one-box order option for AED 75 - But I wouldn't go for that... the 3-month option is good to try it out. Also, every item you get in the box can be reviewed. i.e. you give them your feedback and get points. You can use those points to buy anything from their online store. So that's a plus too! =)

Yeah, Silkor do try to sell you everything!! Before you consider peels, maybe you should invest in a good scrub. Philosophy makes 'Microdelivery peel' which is a face scrub (not a peel). After using it, apply a good moisturizer. This should make your face very soft. Don't scrub more than once a week. Alternatively, you can add a little water to some baking powder and use it as a scrub. Cheaper version of the microdelivery - equally effective. Also, get some vitamin E oil and apply a tiny amount to your face (mix a drop with your moisturizer) after you scrub.

Hi just a question? who old is your DD? my sister when back in Australia was getting migraines from a very young age and I think it was 14 when she was recommended to go on the birth control pill to control the hormones ( not for contraception and she did not use it as such) but it helped. Even starting so young did not affect her fertility for later in life. Just a thought. She and I still get the occasional migraines but no where near like she used to when she was a teenager. I was told that taking birth control pills increases the risk of a stroke in people suffering from migraine (with aura).

Affordable employees, maybe? Most Asians are on similar payscales to Indians and Filipinos, some actually demand even less. This is just the general impression people have. I have nothing against anyone. I'm guessing when they state that, they imply they would accept applicants within the same payscale.

What i find behind many of such ads and preferences is not exactly racism, but some grossly incorrect generalizations based on "nationality". You have some instances where you can understand preferences; like wanting a chef for his country's cuisine, or maybe a supervisor from the same country as technicians under him. But many weird permutations that you see often does not make sense; "Filipinos/Indians only", "westerners only", "South Africans/Australia/NZ only" and so on. In this case, what can a Filipino or Indian do that other Asians can not? Every now and then i hear stuff like "people from country X are this and people from country Y are that, and "how can you believe someone from country Z" Its like you meet 3 people from Poland who are not good in math, and thats it; for the rest of your life you will keep believing and saying Poles are not good in math edited by Arch on 02/10/2012 Affordable employees, maybe?

Why just companies? Racism is obvious in everyday life out here...try passing by the spritzer girl.. or entering a Louis Vuitton... XP You mean the lady that attacks you with her perfume? Hahah.. yeah.. I was bored one day waiting for a friend at the mall.. and I kept observing the people she picked passing by... So consistent! I usually get attacked with Arab style perfume (not Arab but since I started covering I became Palestinian), or any women's smell they can find. I hate it since I don't wear perfume and I have to duck or violently wave them off lol. Yes it's annoying... but their selection isn't random... In your case it was okay I guess cuz she assumed you were into Arabic perfumes.. but I'm speaking about the more general ones.. Haven't paid attention to it, but I shall keep my eyes open, and my nose closed hehehe heheh =D

I prefer blatantly being told why I did not get a job or knowing not to apply rather than being interviewed and told I didn't get the job because I lack experience or am not the right person. Agree.

Hi Bird, The ONLY thing that actually works.. is Retin-A. Go for the 0.01% gel - you'll find it at any pharmacy for about AED 25 or so. Apply it every night and rinse in the morning - follow it with a good sunscreen. All these branded creams have retin-A derivatives as active ingredients and charge you a fortune for it. Also, do a patch test first by applying very little on your neck. Some people can be very sensitive to it.
