If you can get to Dubai Mall... I highly, highly recommend Bloomsbury cupcakes. They're the only ones in Dubai that don't do sickeningly sweet cupcakes!

I have used Armani shade no.2 of another product in their range, not FF and it was not pinkish at all, its described as Pale beige for very fair skin with yellow undertones. So maybe try the tester for no 2, in Face Fabric. The shades are described and shown in close up here for some of the other Armani foundations http://www.beautyprofessor.net/2012/09/giorgio-armani-maestro-fusion-makeup.html Also this online foundation shade finder may help, search your ideal shade before you buy http://findation.com/ Thanks Di@DXB! The Findation site seems very useful!! Did you like the Maestro line?

You get the same stencils at Daiso for about AED10. =P The powder I buy separately. Any matte eyeshadow works really.

Has anyone bought anything belonging to the ASOS fashion line? I'm thinking of ordering a couple of dresses, but unsure of the quality - It's not really a 'brand'.

Just reporting in...I was in Safestway on SZR this morning, they have shelves full of Aussie Shampoo! Several different models of shampoo and conditioner, anti-frizz, hairspray, and smoother. Did you perhaps see Aussie 3 minute miracle? Love the 3 minute miracle!

I used to use the Bioderma SPF100, but it made my face super greasy. Then I switched to Neutrogena Ultra-sheer dry touch SPF55. It's perfect!

Mikyaji has some really good quality products. They have a sale going on. I picked up a blush for AED5 the other day. It's funny they name their blushes after the emirates. Mine was called Ajman :D But seriously... amazing quality!

Try rinsing your scalp with Apple Cider Vinegar after shampooing your hair. Leave it on for 10 minutes and then wash it off. The smell will go away after your hair dries.

The best tiramisu is the one you make yourself. It's a super easy dessert and one that is a winner every time - I use this super easy recipe and it's great. Do a trial run and see how you go - it's delicious. http://www.keyingredient.com/recipes/287130/authentic-tiramisu/ Looks delicious!

A friend of mine attended make-up lessons there... She wasn't too impressed. I did accompany her once as her model... maybe you could do that too? Volunteer to be a model for one of the lessons and see for yourself if you like how things are taught?

Depends on how bad it is.. If its minor.. using tea tree oil should be enough.. The tea tree oil range at the body shop is good.. go for the blemish fade night cream as I feel it has a higher percentage of the oil. If its more persistent .. you could try retin-aldehyde containing creams. It's the mildest form of Retin-A (derived from Vitamin A). I like the one by Avene. Do not use Retinol or Retin-A directly without consulting with a dermatologist first.. these are pretty intense and can cause irritation. Always use a sunscreen before you go out.. Vitamin A works as an exfoliator making your skin more sensitive to the sun. edited by Lady_SilverX on 30/07/2012
