I am wondering which kind of spf I should use on daily basis under makeup.
I have mixed skin.

Are you using proper sun creme or do you use a moisturizer with spf?

TIA

Kiehls, they do a facial moisturiser SPF50, I got mine at Dubai airport - I just mix it with my usual foundation before putting on. Not greasy at all, defintely better then using suncream as a moisturiser! That's a great idea to mix them together. Thanks for the tip :) Fee

I used to use the Bioderma SPF100, but it made my face super greasy. Then I switched to Neutrogena Ultra-sheer dry touch SPF55. It's perfect! can u plz tell me from where u get this Neutrogena Ultra-sheer dry touch SPF55 here in dxb? i have been trying to find this one for about a month but no success I'm using the Neutrogena Ultra sheer spf 30. I really like it. It feels you have nothing on and makes my skin feel very soft. I found the other one a little heavy for me. Anyway I got mine from the Union Coop on Wasl Road last week. They had both.

Something else that you might prefer is Invisible Zinc UV SPF30+ Foundation. Its great, great stuff. I wear suncream underneath just as extra protection, but if your looking just for a SPF30 foundation, I would def reccomend this. Its Australian but I believe you can order online from UK, South Africa, etc. http://www.invisiblezinc.com/ or http://www.beautybay.com/skincare/invisiblezinc/g/uvsilkshieldfoundationspf30/ edited by millymoo on 12/09/2012

I use the MAC Studio Fix pressed powder foundation but wear their primer underneath it. It has a SPF 50 in it and that stuff holds your makeup perfect all day and into the night. I swear by it. It outlasted Disney World in Florida on a humid, hot July day.

I used to use Avene, SPF50 tinted moisturiser, you can get it in most pharmacies here. It's OK for daywear but coverage isn't great. Lately I have been using Kiehls, they do a facial moisturiser SPF50, I got mine at Dubai airport - I just mix it with my usual foundation before putting on. I've been using Natuline Paris SPF 90 for 7 years now and very satisfied. Hi Swissroll..from where can I get this? Would love to try it as I seem to react to all other brands like Bioderma and Vichy Appreciate info from any other forum member that may know. My moisturizer doesn't have SPF, so I normally use Givenchy Doctor White advanced radiance UV shield SPF50

I use the Vichy SPF 50 Mattifying Face Fluid instead of moisturiser during the day and I really like it. I have particularly oily skin and it doesn't make my face greasy at all and I can add makeup over it. edited by millymoo on 11/09/2012
