Hi Stargazelilly1, I have the same question, we have been told that the vaccination card needs to be shown for the visa. If you were able to avoid that, could you please share details of your agent (if any). Thanks in advance.

Congratulations to you lovely ladies for the Umrah. You are very Blessed indeed. Ya true dont feel like coming back. I wanted to ask Stargazelilly1 regarding the vaccination that dont we need to show a card or form to prove the vaccination? Is the umrah visa issued without it? May Allah Subhana o Ta'ala accept ur Ibadah and the duas you made according to what he knows is whats best. and May u and all of us get the chance to go there again and again and..... Aameen. :-)

Uhad83 - I just got back from umrah about 2 weeks ago. I took my 3 year old and 9 month old with me. I was just like you nervous at the thought of handling two young kids whilst there - but Alhumdullilah everythign went well and Allah (SWT) did make it easy for you. Inshallah May He make it easy for you also and grant your Umrah and Duas, It really is an amazing experience, although tiring with young kids!!! I can't wait to go back inshallah. It was so sad to leave. If you leave me your email address I will email you with everything I can possibly share to ease your anxiety and also about my experience in handling my two young kids and doing Umrah. btw - I didnt vaccinate my kids and they were Alhumdullilah fine. We didn't get vaccinated either - big phobia of needles on my part!!! If you have any questions please dont hesitate to ask. May you have a wonderful time in Umrah. May Allah grant your Umrah and please do remember us in your Duas.

May Allah make it easy for you :) Would anyone who has received the vaccination know if there is a side effect (like fever etc.)? edited by Arch on 29/01/2013

the agent who arranged the visas for us told us to go to the Baraha hospital (in deira) i guess all govt hospitals must be doing it(but pls confirm)... it was a surprisingly good experience; never been to a govt hospital before; the nurse was amazing...didn't even feel the prick for the injection so much so that i wondered if she had even done it! we had our 4 year old with us as well..so fine for the baby too.. they gave us a record card with a stamp on it. Best of luck for ur Umrah :)

Have you tried to contact the Ministry of Health? I'm sure they can give you more details. Or perhaps the agent that is arranging your Umrah journey?
