Morning Ladies - i used to attend a fanastic swim class for my 6mnth old before i started working. Since then - ive attended two saturday classes which have been totally useless! :( one was with a lady with bad english (wont go into more details) and the second one was with an english lady who spent half the class discussing her weekend and brunch plans with the other 2 parents. Am totally gutted!! anyone recommend any good classes? or even a teacher willing to come do housevisits ?

Hi ladies... I have seen in the website that baby splash does not have a weekend classes? I wonder if dawn venturas have? if there is opportunity, I can join in a swimming class in weekeeds even it is a residencial area. my son will be 4 month old soon :) would like to have some activity with him... Any recommendation apart from swimming classes and also not too expensive? Thanks a lot :) edited by Hassli on 22/03/2013 Babysplash run classes at the Lakes club on Saturday mornings :-)

We went with Dawn Venturas. They do have a Saturday class, which is the one we go to. Ellie, who teaches the Saturday class is really lovely and my DD really loves the classes. Her confidence in the water has improved a lot already, and we've only done one 10 class block so far. She's just turned 6 months. The Saturday class is at Al Safa School. Hope that helps!

Can highly recommend Babysplash - http://babysplashdubai.com/babysplash/ - I go to the Lakes Club with Helen and am about to enroll for second term.

I completely support Cleo4e's recommendation of Dawn Venturas. I have just enrolled my 13mo for a second term with Dawn. She is great with the kids and knows when to give them gentle encouragement and when to let them be. I'm very impressed.

I have heard good things about Dubai Ladies Club classes, though I haven't tried them myself :)

That's the one cleo4e - dawnventuras was amazing!! Really recommend. The Australian Swim school which came recommended on this site was one of the classes I didn't like - seems they don't actually have any Australian swim teachers only coordinators!

I cannot say enough good things about http://www.dawnventuras.com/. We took our son there and I could not be happier. Excellent teacher, excellent coach with fantastic and convenient locations.
