Vanilla Butter Icing

Ingredients

4oz. butter, soft
5oz. castor sugar
1 tsp. vanilla essence or ½ tsp. vanilla extract

Preparation

  • Cream the butter and sugar until it becomes a pale yellow fluffy mixture
  • Add the vanilla and beat it in until fully incorporated
  • Use food colouring if desired.
