Review: Bussola, Italian Flavours in Dubai at The Westin Dubai Mina Seyahi Beach

There are a ton of Italian restaurants in Dubai, but there is nothing else like Bussola, located at the fabulous The Westin Dubai Mina Seyahi Beach Resort & Marina.
With beachside seating and a mouthwatering menu, this high-end Italian dining spot is always perfectly executed. Great for special occasions, catching up with your friends, dates, or impressing out-of-towners.
Offering top quality dishes, Bussola specialises in Italian seafood, meat dishes, pasta, stone-baked pizzas, risotto, desserts, and drinks, all beautifully prepared and presented.
The Venue
The venue is elegantly classy yet isn't stuffy, the dishes are familiar but inventive, and a fantastic place to save for a special occasion or a catch-up with your best mates. Save storage space in your phone, because you will enjoy the picture-perfect stunning views overlooking The Westin Dubai Mina Seyahi Beach's pool complex and the Arabian Gulf.
The Food
Lavish ingredients are deployed thoughtfully and to their full power at Bussola. We started with the calamari and seabass carpaccio which were both utterly delicious. My colleague opted for the tenderloin steak which was cooked to perfection; I ordered a pasta dish with a selection of vegetables in a creamed pecorino sauce which I thoroughly enjoyed.
To finish off, we shared the apple strudel with a punchy cinnamon sauce and authentic vanilla gelato, a perfect end to our meal that helped cool us down in the summer evening.
