Why Dubai Banned Flowers and Petals in Restaurant Food

Flowers on restaurant dishes may be a popular trend, but it's on the chopping board now

According to a circular from the Dubai National Committee for Food Safety, restaurants across the emirate will no longer be allowed to serve flowers, roses, or its petals with food and drinks either as an ingredient or for decoration.

The call was issued to protect the quality and food safety of restaurant dishes.
