Located in a fabulous boutique hotel at the heart of Business Bay, Open Sesame serves up classic dishes with a unique, refreshing spin on Levante, Anatolian, Emirati, and other international cuisine.
One of our ExpatWoman team members visited the Hotel Indigo-based restaurant to try out their new brunch offer, available every Saturday.
With its varied menu, brilliant live music music, and helpful staff, Open Sesame's Art of Brunch is huge fun and makes for a lovely spot for a casual weekend brunch.
The Venue
Open Sesame's interiors is like a multi-coloured jewel glittering among the dining scene in Business Bay. It doesn't disappoint; we thoroughly enjoyed the ambiance along with the art-themed surroundings. The staff were incredibly attentive.
The Food
The Art of Brunch at Open Sesame serves up an array of international, Mediterranean-inspired cuisines presented across a large canteen style overlooking views of Business Bay.
When we ventured into this lovely space, there was a huge selection of decadent and mouth-watering options from Italian to Japanese, Lebanese to American – with truly something for everyone. We went for the Asian-influenced selection which included a range of curries, poke bowls, and starters.
Don't forget to order their exceptional specialty coffee.
The flavoursome brunch offers endless entertainment, including a resident DJ and live violinist playing renditions of classic covers and even top hits. There were also a few other fun surprises in store for guests to go back home with great memories.
