Review: Classic British & American Favourites at JB's Gastropub Amwaj Rotana JBR Dubai

JB's is the kind of gastropub in Dubai you want to keep all for yourself.
Gastropubs are almost as bountiful as coffee shops in Dubai, but there are few that raise their drinks, and their dishes, to a near-art form.
We hit JB's Gastropub in Amwaj Rotana Jumeirah Beach, where the scene is chill and the food is fantastic. JB's has the feel of a New York gastro bar/restaurant, serving up fine food and drinks while you catch up with friends and watch live sports on the big screen. The interior is warm and inviting, and the atmosphere is buzzy along with fun background music provided by a live house DJ.
We had the opportunity to try out their eclectic menu of traditional British and American favourites, desserts, drinks, and other refreshments.

Starters
We started our meal with a delicious prawn and lobster cocktail. Great flavours and a great start to my evening. My partner opted for the pork rinds which did not disappoint and was an unusual option on the menu, but it really worked.
JB's menu will please both Dubai gourmands and comfort foodies alike.
Mains
For our main courses we decided to share both recommended dishes: the Angus Rib Eye which was served up to a perfect medium rare and the bacon sarnie which was delicious.
I was quite overwhelmed with the portion sizes which give you incredible value for money, so be sure to visit with an appetite!
Desserts
After grazing through both courses, we were ready to indulge in dessert.
My partner and I decided to split a warm chocolate torte, and the sticky toffee pudding is probably one of the best I have had in Dubai!
