Visiting the stylish Envy restaurant in Dubai for a meal is great any day, but starting your weekend with their Jealous Brunch is like greeting your weekend with a heartfelt blessing to unwind and party.

Located in Th8 Palm, the luxury boutique resort's signature restaurant offers this unmissable addition to Dubai’s brunch scene with mouth-watering food and drinks alongside live music by a saxophonist and a house DJ.

We had a go last weekend. Our verdict? If you find yourself in the mood for delicious brunch plates, sweeping sea views, and a groovy party vibe, you should run - not walk - to Envy.

The Restaurant

Envy is a daytime diamond in Dubai, featuring head-turning bright interiors that will make you feel like you're dining somewhere along the Mediterranean coasts.

Make sure your phone's battery is charged up, because there's going to be loads of photo opportunities at this glamourous four-hour brunch. As soon as you sit down at Envy, you're absolutely spoiled for views with one side overlooking the Palm Jumeirah's gorgeous azure waters and white beaches, and Dubai's stunning skyline and iconic landmarks on the other.

Entertainment is provided by a great DJ playing a selection of jazzy grooves, accompanied by a talented saxophonist adding to the party ambiance of the afternoon.

The Food

Sure to make anyone green with envy for spending their afternoon elsewhere, the Jealous Brunch offers a wide range of dishes that can satisfy any brunch-goer's palate. Its spread takes influences from many parts of the world, making it a must-try for upscale locally inspired dishes combined with Middle Eastern flavours, then top it all with bubblies.

Prepared and served to perfection, we enjoyed an array of quality seafood and grilled meats to start this cracking brunch.

We both tucked into the main course options of roasts, fresh sushi, pasta dishes, and a variety of other popular brunch classics. The roast was wonderfully cooked which we combined with salads to add some freshness to our plate.

The desserts station was very impressive with a magnificent, sweetly rich chocolate fountain and a lovely selection of colourful patisserie favourites.
