If you live in the city, you would know that a Ladies Night out is tradition for expat women.
For a much needed mid-week catch up, gather the girls and take the night off with an authentic Italian Ladies Night in Dubai at Rosso, located in Amwaj Rotana Jumeirah Beach Road.
Rosso is an established venue at Amwaj Rotana, a traditional Italian brassiere with fabulous food and service. They've introduced a great new Ladies Night concept that is just too good to not share.
Taking place every Tuesday and Wednesday, ladies get three complimentary drinks and 50% off the selected food menu which works well if you’re only planning on a couple of hours at Rosso.
When we arrived at around 7pm, it was fairly quiet but soon livened up. The bar and restaurant area have a great atmosphere with fun background tunes. Rosso's staff are super helpful and really attentive; for that I must mention Monica who very kindly took us through the menu explaining and recommending dishes.
Appetizers and Mains
'Delicious' is an understatement when we tucked into our appetizers and mains. We had the rucola con mele salad along with a gnocchi alla sorrentina and a margarita pizza cooked authentically in their pizza oven. The pizza is equal parts light and crispy, fluffy and chewy, and rich and consistent - it’s one of the best we've ever had.
If you're craving Italian but looking to try somewhere new, Rosso at Amwaj Rotana JBR might just become your new Ladies Night tradition.
Drinks
To quench our thirst, we enjoyed Rosso's selection of cocktails which were really refreshing. My recommendation would be the 'Sparkling Lady', a crisp blend of gin, sparkling wine, and lemon juice.

All in all, Rosso at Amwaj Rotana JBR has all the ingredients for a picture-perfect evening. It's where to head if you want to feel like you are in Italy, feasting on authentic dishes as you sip on beverages and catch up with the girls.
Over the next few weeks, we're pretty confident this place will grow in popularity and will become one of Dubai's must-go-to Ladies Nights.
