When it comes to a Sunday roast in Dubai, they don’t come much better than The Roast by Bubbalicious.
A Sunday roast is among the UK's best and most celebrated culinary traditions; when it’s right, it can compete with the world’s most-loved national dishes.
From Sunday 4th September, The Roast by Bubbalicious was launched at The Westin Dubai Mina Seyahi Beach Resort & Marina, promising to bring the very best of British bites, beverages, music and nostalgic memories.
Diners can tuck into authentic British flavours of a proper Sunday roast consisting of classics including Yorkshire puddings, crispy roasties, stuffing and much more. They've got seven carvery options, including roasted beef ribs and crispy spit roast chicken and, while listening to live music, surrounded by all things nostalgic to lazy Sunday afternoons.
You'd be hard-pressed to find a better Sunday Roast in Dubai that also features entertainment for children.
The Venue and Family Entertainment
When you enter Mina's Kitchen, you're met with interiors that are fresh and characterful, with warm and natural lighting, a lovely checkered floor, and inviting décor.
There is a fun-packed children’s area with face painting, slime making, balloon art all organised by a vast team of staff who couldn’t have been more attentive.
The kids especially liked the free flowing chocolate fountain and unlimited pop corn! We were also massively impressed with the mid-afternoon show aimed at the kid’s great energy, fantastic acts, and brilliant music - we all loved it.
The Food
The Roast by Bubbalicious offers a fantastic afternoon for families to indulge in classic British fare.
We opted for the champagne brunch consisting of a jam-packed buffet to rival them all with pastries, fresh seafood, charcuterie and of course, as much champagne as you desire. You can also sip refreshing bevvies from a selection of classic drink stations inclusive of Pimms and Gin and Tonics.
Our roast dinner with the selection of meats and trimmings on offer were incredible. All were perfectly cooked and complimented by an array of condiments.
Children can enjoy a dedicated menu consisting of Shepard’s pie with roasted mash potatoes, delicious sausages with creamy potatoes and onion gravy, and a classic combo of fish and chips. The kids loved the battered haddock and chunky chips. Overall a great start to an afternoon of fun.
I cannot recommend this brunch enough as it really is a perfect way to spend a Sunday afternoon with family and friends. There is something for everyone, whether old and young. The restaurant's quality of food, venue, family entertainment, and friendly staff makes it one of the best brunches I have been to in a very long while. We have already booked to go back with friends who are visiting!
This new Sunday roast at Mina's Kitchen is one that will leave you satisfied and comfortably full, and if you have access to the resort's private beach, you can even relax and walk it off with a stroll.
