Sui Mui Dubai food and restaurant review

An evening brunch you wouldn't want to miss!

Dubai is brimming with exciting street food options, with the food scene's sheer diversity offering Arabic and Indian vendors to European staples and even unique spins on classics like hotdogs and pretzels. But if you're in the mood for Asian street food, we found one that's sure to satisfy your every craving.

Sui Mui, a playful pan-Asian restaurant in Dubai, combines a mouth-watering selection of dishes from Japan, South Korea, Thailand, the Philippines, China, Indonesia, Vietnam, and Malaysia, using authentic cooking techniques from each country by their master chefs.

And if you're not familiar with Asian street food, then Sui Mui's Street Food Night x Go Neon evening brunch is full of delicious discoveries.

The Restaurant

Sui Mui is a fabulous Asian fusion restaurant; we visited on a Friday evening for their Street Food Night x Goes Neon special which offered an array of flavoursome dishes including sushi, fresh salads, and a wide selection of meat and fish dishes that's prepared on demand.

The setting for this unique venue is at the heart of The Westin Dubai Mina Seyahi Beach Resort & Marina's outdoor courtyard, which was beautifully lit with lanterns and wall lights along with a DJ playing background beats.

The Food

The evening brunch also offers an à la carte menu featuring traditional Asian gourmet cuisine, ranging from fragrant Chinese roast ducks and fresh-off-the-grill wagyu beef to scrumptious pad thai and fiery mee goreng, perfect for either large family/friend gatherings to intimate date nights.

We opted to start with the Tom Kah Gai soup which is a Thai soup bursting with layer upon layer of fantastic coconut and chicken flavours.

We decided for our main courses to share a selection of popular choices: the chicken with cashew nuts, and pad thai with fresh prawns. Both dishes did not disappoint and were delicious. To end the meal, we enjoyed a refreshing fruit platter.
