Choosing your next brunch spot in Dubai is always a joyful task as UAE residents and visitors alike are spoiled for choice. Depending on the occasion, mood, and even the time of the year, your next Dubai brunch will vary.
We recently had the pleasure of trying out a chill gastropub-vibe weekend brunch that we want to return to again and again, and that we think you also will, too.
[u]bk - urban bar & kitchen is located at Mövenpick JLT, and it's a must-visit.
Taking place every Saturday afternoon at 12:30 PM till 4 PM, [u]bk's Garden Brunch offers a relaxed and delicious afternoon filled with great food and amazing ambiance.
The Venue
[u]bk is a modern and laidback spot yet it's always buzzing with activity and good vibes, that much is clear. There's always something going on at the restaurant, whether it's quiz night or a live show, but this time our focus is on their extraordinary brunch that's just perfect to enjoy with friends, family, or your best workmates.
From 1 PM to 4 PM, kick back and enjoy fantastic music and vocals from a live performer.
The Food
The brunch has unlimited beverages and starters followed by one main and one dessert served on the table per person.
The starter-sharing platters were a combination of classic gastro-pub dishes including flavourful pulled beef sliders, crispy chicken wings, and calamari complemented by a selection of healthy salads. There are live stations serving tacos, and flambéed fruits which was a nice touch to the brunch.
We then ordered the main courses; I opted for the succulent BBQ ribs which were delicious, and my colleague had the chicken tarragon - another fantastic dish.
To complete our brunch, we had a selection of desserts to select from. All the dishes were well-presented, and a perfect meal for Saturday afternoon.
Additionally, they also have free access during the brunch to their Fun Zone where you can enjoy a karaoke room, arcade games, pool, and many more fun games.

The [u]bk Garden Brunch offers excellent value for money, a great atmosphere, and good food; if you are looking for a chilled afternoon out this certainly is the place to go.
