The brunch menu at Akira Back Dubai showcases all aspects of Japanese dining at its finest.
Dubai has a plethora of culinary Asian strong suits, but almost none are quite as impressive than Akira Back's Japanese brunch.
Taking place every Sunday from 1pm to 4pm, the Social Sunday brunch is a one-stop culinary journey around the best of Japanese cuisine in the emirate, located in Akira Back at W Dubai – The Palm.
The ExpatWoman team had the opportunity to experience an eclectic and exotic journey through taste while enjoying live entertainment by Jul & Co.
Brunchers are treated to terrace views overlooking the W Dubai – The Palm's pool area and the Arabian Gulf, making for a wonderful ambiance.
Masterful preparations and stunning world-class seafood
Inspired menu staples are made for sharing, particularly the lobster tempura, tuna dishes, spinach salad, and the scallops start this stylish brunch food journey off perfectly.
The main courses certainly don't disappoint, with the stand out being the miso black cod and the vegan rainbow roll.
Desserts
Desserts offered were a velvety chocolate pot and a spice soup.
This certainly will be a brunch I will be highly recommending to friends and we cannot wait to return again. Throw in the fact that you can get a 25% discount for March, and it adds up to a fantastic and reasonably priced Japanese brunch experience with pristine seafood, delicious desserts, and great service.
