The font was designed by Dr. Nadine Chahine with the help of a team from design agency Monotype.

This is the first time ever that a software company as huge as Microsoft teams up with a city to help it create its own font. The creation of this font is in line with the UAE’s vision to be one of the top leaders in innovation both internationally and regionally.
