3 New Must-Visit Dubai Attractions

Do you have days off for a public holiday, or have you booked a long weekend? Even if you have visitors coming over... Grab the perfect opportunity to explore what's newly opened across the emirate. Grab your friends, your family and spend some quality time together while making new memories and enjoy fantastic experiences! 

There's no denying that Dubai is rapidly expanding, and as expats, we're very excited to enjoy the new attractions on offer, plus what's yet to come...

So, if you've not yet made any plans for your days off or with your visitors this year, head to one of these three new fantastic attractions that suit all ages and interests. 

Dubai Opera

Granted, tickets to this place and its shows need to be bought in advance. And there's no surprise that as it's newly opened, tickets are somewhat catered for a particular budget. Nonetheless, that doesn't mean you can't appreciate the opulence of the new development. Head down to Downtown Dubai and combine a trip to The Dubai Mall, Souk Al Bahar, the Dubai Fountains and the brand new, astonishing Dubai Opera that's joined the view over there.

Even if you don't have tickets to the opera, there are some fabulous dining facilities and restaurants around the area so you can really make a day out of a trip down there. Make sure to check what's coming up on their showings, we're very excited to see what the future holds for the Dubai Opera!

Dubai Opera is located in The Opera District, on Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Boulevard in Downtown Dubai. It’s easily accessible by cars and public transport such as metro, taxis, and buses.

IMG Worlds of Adventure

It's difficult to go anywhere in Dubai right now without seeing huge signs and billboards about the new, world's largest indoor theme park that is just a stones thrown away for Dubai residents. Now residents, locals and visitors to the city can enjoy the best of a theme park - without the terrible heat outside... Some of our team have already been since its opening day, and their feedback is very, very good. Thrill-seekers will be overjoyed to experience the brand new, large and fast rollercoasters there, plus many, many other attractions that's all under the one roof. 

IMG Worlds of Adventure

With tickets at just AED 300 per adult, and AED 250 for children above 1.2m in height (yes, children under this height get in free, woo!), it makes for the perfect family, fun day out. Enjoy spectacular rides, movies, food and beverage facilities, shop till you drop and explore the different zones; MARVEL, Lost Valley, Cartoon Network, IMG Boulevard and NOVO Cinemas. Plus, have the chance to meet your favourite MARVEL and Cartoon Network characters for a memorable picture. 

IMG Worlds of Adventure is located on E311 (Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road - near Arabian Ranches, next to Global Village), in the heart of Dubai... A taxi and private coach area is conveniently close to the entrance.

The Green Planet

It has been years in the making, but finally now, City Walk has a brand new rainforest situated in the heart of the area. Yes, Dubai now has its very own tropical rainforest, that's complete with more than 3,000 species of plants, animals and free-flying birds. Catch the chance to see creatures up close, like porcupines, sloths, snaks, spiders and a huge array of exotic birds as you wonder around taking in the glorious atmosphere of this indoor rainforest.

Explore and interact with a whole new world that is a fully immersive vertical rainforest... Who wouldn't want to!?
