......and I thought it was just me. I looked at the small counter and the few cheap tables & chairs and thought "Is that IT!"
After all the hype I was expecting something to rival a big Costa or Paul's or something.

Can't believe all the hype with this place! Went there this morning for breakfast and the sandwiches were just like McDonald's but the cheese was unmelted lol. Never again.. Plus half the things they verbally told me about as choices weren't available. Big disappointment!

We were their 3rd customers and asked for a double double. After explaining what it was... all i got was "sorry ma'am no coffee yet". Sooo I settled for an ice cap.
Apparently it'll be up and brewing by tomorrow, Inshallah.

Maple, I did the same thing 3 weeks ago! And I got apple fritters! They are all gone now. I do miss the poppy seed bagels though, the black seed thingys are not the same. And VRDoha, thanks for helping enable us! It's always exciting to hear good news. When they open I will be setting up base camp in one of the corners, and getting my fill of fresh baked joy

Well good to know this is actually going to happen; brought back way too many bagels etc from Tim Horton's Dubai last night for the kids. I asked in the store there and they said they are due to open soon in Doha.

It's sooo good to see that this forum works so well! And, I guess that this is what it is all about!
I don't even know Tim Horton's, and yet, I was looking at an article about Ezdan Mall opening, saw the picture, and thought I Must post the link on EW, so that fellow ladies can put a smile on their faces... So, I EVEN actually signed in, so that I could post, and there it is, already done for me. Good news obviously travels fast.
GREAT publicity for Tim Horton's though - we should contact their HQ and let them know how much their coffee is appreciated, then they may even open more around Doha... City Centre? And this is coming from a Non Canadian that has never heard of the brand before!

Hi guys this might...says on QL it's going to be in the new endangers mall...which is opening literally fit next to us!

So I emailed Tim Hortons Customer Service head office...here is the reply I received today. (It seems that either she sent me the Dubai info..or its City Center but was suppose to open April 3rd but is delayed?)
'Thank you for taking the time to write our Head Office with your question about our location in Doha, Qatar.
I am showing that we do have a location on Fujairah City Center Doha, Unit G042. It opened on April 3 2012.
I hope I have been able to answer your question, please contact us.
