Totally agree - what a wonderful event it is. Watching the dhows sail to the waters edge at sunset was beautiful. all very well organised and thoroughly enjoyable!

The dhow exhibition is fab. Went this evening. Very interessting. Lots of dhows you can climb on - take care limited railings on the jetty! Around the edge small displays of equipement used on dhows, models of them, pearls etc. A really worthwhile exhibition to go to. I think we were lucky as it wasn't busy today. There was a show of music and traditional dance etc as well.

Ok just in case anyone else was wondering.....someone answered the phone at Katara...I know...miracle!!! and he assures me that the beach is open and the boats are in a different part.....he had better be right!!
