The hotel my husband's company ihas arrrnaged for us for a month does not allow pets. As we are transporting our cat from Australia to Doha before I leave mid June, we need a Cattery for him until we find our own accommodation. Has anyone else had this situation and can you recommend a Cattery not too far from the city? Also, is there restrictions on having pets in rented apartments or villas?
Thanks

I've messaged my friend, and she's just registered as a new member on here, so is waiting for approval. If you want to email me, I can give you her contact details. lulubaker at gmail dot com

I emailed Pampered Pets and they have a small cage for my cat only. It is a long way out fromDoha and no, we don't know the areas around. It would be great to have Cattery closer in so I can visit my cat until we are settled. He has been an inside cat and is very close to us. Please let me know what your friend might be able to organise.

When we moved to Doha (and when we left!) we used Pampered Pets Kennels & Cattery. They are super organised & will collect the cat from the airport if you wish, or from your hotel, apartment, wherever. They are located about 20 mins out of Doha however, which may be a problem for you if you are new to the city & a bit worried about driving anywhere. One of my friends is in the process of setting up a Cattery in her villa in Doha - I'll get in touch with her & ask her to post details here. Good luck!
