If anyone is looking for a live-in nanny/maid, we would like to rehome our Filipina maid who has been working with us since 2 years ago when we had our second baby. Her contract ends this month and we decided yesterday that we don't want to renew because our old maid was not getting along with her very well and of course our priority would be to keep the older maid who has been with us for 8 years. The new one is going back home on the 5th of December and is supposed to be back in Dubai on 5th January 2014. If you would like to have her then you would save the cost of bringing her here as we have already purchased her ticket (at around AED 3500) and you can get to see her before you hire her. Her last salary was AED 1250 plus 1 day off per week. She's very good with kids, a bit shy though. Not very talkative. She does the ironing and a little cooking. No, she is not pregnant If you would like to have her starting 5th January If she still hasnt found. New home... I would like to interview her.. We are a family of 3 husband wife and a 2 month old daughter and I am looking fr a maid to help with my daughter and housework. You can contact me on +971566564820

it took me 2 months and 80 or so calls to find one and fingers crossed she will be good, she just did few days and now in her own country for some paperwork required. Don't give up and don't settle for the first one, just try to find the one you are comfortable with

It took my DD two months to find her helper but she was worth the wait. Unfortunately it can be a long drawn out process and a lot of patience is needed. All you can do is keep trying, or hope that you can find one by recommendation, but even doing it that way, has proved to be a mistake for some people. Good luck! edited by amelia on 08/11/2013
