Be careful on installing iOS 8 today as many have had problems due to how heavy the new upgrade is and lost photos/apps/contacts....reports recommend that you back up everything to your itunes and then make the upgrade in case you are one of the unlucky ones - sorry to diverge!

Found out they are making updates and adding new features, which could explain it?! Be careful on installing iOS 8 today as many have had problems due to how heavy the new upgrade is and lost photos/apps/contacts....reports recommend that you back up everything to your itunes and then make the upgrade in case you are one of the unlucky ones - sorry to diverge! That is ok, I have not been tapped up yet to upgrade ios8 - so haven't done that yet, but facebook still isn't working on ipad at home - after deleting and reinstalling the app - nothing, and noting from logging in from the safari web either! I think it's dead

I believe there were many many people across Dubai who couldn't get it yesterday and I still can't. I can't believe how annoying it is - I didn't realise how heavily I relied on it's messenger service and don't have email addresses for lots of my "friends" anymore! Aggghhh

Just switched my WiFi off and not a thing apart from half a dozen emails which the WiFi appears to have prevented downloading. Also WhatsApp is only working if I switch the WiFi off !!!! <em>edited by Geordie expat on 17/09/2014</em>
