still not been paid :(
Some advice would be appreciated.
We left Doha in July after hubby had worked his notice period of two months for a government organisation. Due to a mix up over his leave date and holiday entitlement, he didn't receive his salary for June. He was assured after all the calculations and arguing the toss over his end of service (EOS) entitlement he would be paid at the end of July. So we are owed 2 mths salary, his EOS, return flights, shipping and 2 weeks holiday pay.
Sadly still no payment despite chasing. Usual run of excuses, hr didn't tell payroll, then it was Eid, then someone was on holiday, etc. We've been told that the payment has to be now approved by the minister. We've also learnt that someone else who left just after us, because their probation period was over (and weren't kept on), has also not been paid any salary at all.
We're reluctant to get a lawyer on the case due to costs, does anyone have any other ideas about how to get paid?
