Yes, use them all the time.
You need to book them in advance as they get booked up pretty quickly, particularly at the w.end. When you book them they will ask where you need to be picked up from and driven to. They will then give you a fixed price. The Meadows to The Palm is AED 120.
There are 3 companies that do this, Safe driver, Safer Driver and I think a new company called Buddies driver......never used the latter so have no idea what they are like.
Has anyone used The driver or Safer driver ? Did it work out well and is there a standard pricing structure that you can share ie cost per km or is it tailored to the location. DH works in Bur Dubai
and we live at Jumeirah Golf Estates. Just wondering if it works out as cost effective if we are going to a restaurant near his office to use this service rather than a return trip in a taxi.
