For chocoholics around the world, the universe turns a little askew and logic goes out of the window when they see people misusing this heavenly food — by mixing or wrapping it around some bizarre combinations.

No, we don’t mean bananas or strawberries. We are referring to the less conventional bacon, ramen and chillies. Felony – we say!

If you’re as passionate about this cause then scroll down to see how many times the world has seriously misused chocolate by creating weird food combos.

Just because you can doesn’t mean you should. Sometimes it’s better to kill creativity in the bud and leave things as it is — potato and chocolates mash up fall in that category.  If we wanted sweet and salty – we’ll have salt and caramel popcorn, thank you.

Chocolate coated bacon is apparently a big deal but those who have tried (we wouldn’t dare) say it’s soggy and not worth breaking the culinary rules.

While we love the idea of eating chocolate first thing in the morning, we’re not too hyped about rubbing it on our teeth — we’d rather savour it later in the day.

Sounds like a joke? We wish it was. Chocolate covered pickles are actually a thing. People are even decorating them with nuts, sprinkles and what not!

5. Chocolate covered onions

Prank someone you secretly despise with these Ripley’s Believe it or Not famed onions but don’t try them — EVER.

Next time you feel adventurous just go take a dive in the swimming pool. Please DON’T mix beef with chocolate — or anything sweet for that matter.
