All About Nut Butters

With every passing day, we are introduced to a new kind of food that we never knew could exist.

It all started with coconut oil, and after they made our love for the oil strong, they decided to mess around with our emotions by introducing an assortment of nut butters.

 
We have all heard about how amazing nuts are for our physical well-being. But why?

Nuts have been linked to several benefits including lower cholesterol levels, protection against cancer and they help with brittle bones and muscles.

Although they are high on the calorie count, nuts can help lower cholesterol and reduce the risk of heart disease.

That being said, it is important to include nut content into your diet, and that includes nut butters!

Although it may seem that nut butters are all the same in content, there are nutritional differences from 1 nut butter to another.

So now we analyze to find which butter is the most nutrient of all the nut butters out there!

 
Almond Butter

Containing 26% more vitamin E content, 3% more Iron and 7% more calcium than the average jar of peanut butter, almond butter provide a significant amount of monounsaturated fatty acid and 25% less saturated fat than peanut butter.

Providing a good source of vitamin E, almond butter provides 7.6 grams of protein, magnesium and fiber.
 
Peanut Butter

 
The most popular nut butter of all, 1 ounce of peanut butter contains 2.5 grams of fiber, 7 grams of protein, and 15% of your daily Vitamin E requirement.

Additionally, Peanut butter contains calcium, copper, iron, magnesium, niacin, folate and zinc!
 
Cashew Butter

Though lower than other nut butters in the protein area, cashew butter is rich in iron, copper and phosphorus.
