Facials can be costly and may not be advisable for highly sensitive skin. Getting a facial is as easy as walking up to your kitchen and finding nature’s beauty cures for fresh homemade facial scrubs. Food from the kitchen can also be skin food. A complete skin care regimen involves scrubbing, cleaning, and toning. Depending on the type of skin you have, you may need specific care but don’t worry because nature has an answer for all these problems.
The best times to enjoy these natural homemade scrubs are when you're in the tub, during a weekend after a weeklong busy schedule, or any time as you please. Best of all, they are all natural and chemical free! Here are our favorites among the natural do-it-yourself facial scrubs.

Natural Cleanser with Olive and Lemon Oil

You will need:
1 tablespoon plain Greek yogurt
2 teaspoons olive oil
½ teaspoon lemon oil (essential oil that can be found in health food stores)

How to:
Massage onto skin and wipe off with wash cloth soaked in water.

*Note: Lemon oil should not be substituted with lemon juice.

Tighten Skin and Lift with Yogurt and Lemon Juice

You will need:
2 tablespoons plain yoghurt
1 tablespoon lemon juice (one whole lemon)

How to:
Mix both ingredients together to form a paste. Apply onto face and leave for 20 to 30 minutes until it feels tight like a mask. Leave on for lifting and firming effects. Rinse with water and repeat two or three times a week.

Say Goodbye to Puffy Eyes with Tea Bags

You will need:
Green tea or chamomile tea bags
Make up sponges

How to:
There are a lot of eye treatments in the market to get rid of puffy eyes but there’s one item in your kitchen that can do wonders for that—teabags! De-puff and relax your eyes to look energized. Do this after cleansing your skin properly and brew a cup of chamomile tea or green tea. Allow to cool then soak make up sponges, squeeze excess liquid and place on your eyes for 15 minutes.

Make a Relaxing Body Scrub with Brown Sugar

You will need:
About 2 ounces of brown sugar
2 ounces of oil (sesame oil, olive oil or essential oil for aromatherapy benefits)

How to:
Use your favorite essential oil sent like lavender and add 15 drops to the scrub. Massage onto your body working from the bottom going up (toes to your neck).
