Quick Eggie Brekkie

Ingredients

6 slices white bread
4 eggs - beaten
1/4 tsp pepper
1/4 tsp chili powder
4 tbsp vegetable oil
Pinch of salt to taste

Preparation

  • Beat the eggs well till it starts to slightly froth up.
  • Drop in the pepper, salt and chili powder, and mix well.
  • In a fying pan, heat the oil.
  • Dip each slice of bread into the egg mixture and drop it in the frying pan (medium heat).
  • Cook one side and turn over.
  • Fry the bread till golden on either side.
  • Serve sizzling hot for breakfast with tomato ketchup or mint chutney sauce.
