The 8th March marks International Women’s Day 2018, where we celebrate the social, economic, cultural and political achievement of women. As the Middle East is home to some pretty powerful ladies and women to admire, we’ve sourced where you can celebrate International Women’s Day 2018 in Dubai.

With complimentary drinks in Dubai restaurants and bars, you won’t want to miss out on the freebies and special treatment that the women will receive as we have 6 ways you can celebrate being female this Thursday. From a Dubai ladies night to unlimited drinks and oysters at the Dubai Opera, there’s even a week of feminist themed Mexican food with beauty goody bags to look forward to.

1. Gaucho

The popular Hola Chicas! Ladies Night at Gaucho is moving to Thursday this week, as you and the girls can enjoy a delicious steak and complimentary drinks. In celebration of International Women’s Day 2018 Gaucho are gifting the girls with three free drinks over the course of the evening.

2. Life ‘N One

Life ‘N One located in Jumeirah 1 are hosting an International Women’s Day Breakfast, so you can talk politics and feminism over pancakes. The talk will discuss the power of creativity, as it will be thought provoking morning and a great chance to meet other interesting women.

3. The Bar at Rixos

The Bar at Rixos, The Palm will be celebrating International Women’s Day with a band, a dance show and a DJ on the decks, as ladies will receive free drinks until 1am. There’s a women’s raffle and plenty of entertainment, as this one is for the girls who like to party.

4. La Petite Maison

Dubai and Abu Dhabi’s fancy French eatery, La Petite Maison, are spoiling women to a free glass of bubbles throughout International Women’s Day. So raise a glass to powerful women in history, as well as your mum, your best friend and even yourself!

5. Peyote

Peyote is celebrating International Women’s Day 2018 with a whole week dedicated to women with a Frida Kahlo theme, the Mexican feminist and artist. The Mexican restaurant are treating the girls to two glasses of sparkling grape and a complimentary goody bag from beauty brand Hammamii.

6. Sean Connolly at Dubai Opera

This Thursday at the Dubai Opera the women get unlimited mixed drinks and oysters from 7pm-8pm for only AED 150. The first 50 ladies to arrive will receive it all for free, so get your makeup done early and head straight to the Opera.
