The World’s First Official Nutella Café Is Finally Here

It might have taken decades of persuasion BUT the world has finally been blessed with the first-ever Nutella café — dedicated to all things dipped, coated and topped with drizzles of hazelnut chocolate goodness.

Operated and owned by Ferrero, the makers of Nutella, the permanent cafe will open near Millennium Park, Chicago, USA. The doors to this chocolate heaven open at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, May 31. The company has worked hard to maintain an ambience where customers actually feel like they’re walking into a giant jar of Nutella.

“We wanted to create a world of Nutella for our fans that could truly capture the essence of the brand … from the moment you step into space,” Noah Szporn, head of Marketing at Nutella North America said in a statement.

As for the menu — expect an insane amount of Nutella smothering on options like fondue, crepes, waffles, gelato and toasts. There’s even an option for ‘health-conscious’ peeps (not that anyone’s EVER gonna use it) —it's steel-cut oats.

For those who have nut allergies or just want something else, there will be non-Nutella items on the menu as well.

There is an array of espresso menu that includes all of the usual drinks including a hot chocolate or mocha and added whipped cream and of course, a heavy dose of Nutella drizzle.

Now that we’ve made you hungry enough to lick the last ounce of your already empty Nutella jar — here’s a bummer: Ferrero has shared no plans of expansion as of yet, meaning — no Nutella café in the UAE, at least not in the near future.
