Make no mistake about it: Cheesy bread is pretty much everyone’s favourite indulgent comfort food. Seriously, what's not to like about fresh bread served with oodles of cheese?

And if that's not enough to pique your taste buds then wait till you see how Georgians eat their cheese bread. One of the most popular delicacies of Georgia, khachapuri is a soft oven-fresh bread filled with hot runny eggs and topped with melted cheese.

The mouthwatering cheese bread is flavoured with spinach and is torn into with bare hands in order to be dipped in the molten egg centre. Slightly sour sulguni cheese is wrapped around a boat-shaped butter-brushed dough to create the magically divine cheese boat. It's then left in the oven until it turns into a beautiful golden brown colour.

This interesting video by @FoodSkills takes us to the streets of Old Tbilisi Garden in Greenwich Village, one of the very few restaurants in NYC that offer this traditional Georgian cuisine.
