So is this where we all get in our cars and start driving to the stadium? I cannot believe it really, it looks and sounds horrible out there. I am on Al Wasl and cannot see the buildings on SZR.
"Uh-oh", I said to DH. "Better keep the radio on"
He wondered why, "They're going to announce if the concert's cancelled or not (pointing to EW screen)... Wait, what the heck, I'll just refresh EW instead. Someone's going to be reporting it as well online I'm sure."
:D
LOL I thought the same.....
I am not going but will continue to report as I hear it................... EW Roving Reporters. ;)
I'm not going but I hope it does go ahead as planned and that all you ladies who are going have a wonderful night tonight.
I'm sure it will be fantastic! :D
Due to high winds earlier in the day, the promoter, DONE Events, has issued the following statement regarding tonight’s show:
The current situation is that the show will go ahead as planned. Our top priority is always the safety of the public and should weather forecasts predict hazardous conditions, appropriate decisions will be made and a further statement released.
We'd suggest you keep an eye on their website [url=http://www.doneevents.com/'>link[/url'> and and ear out for the radio for further updates.
Fingers crossed!!!
I just drove down to collect some tickets and all looked ok - ie staff were arriving in buses, tickets still being given out - no mention of cancellation. It was however VERY windy. Let's hope the wind drops a bit!
Wow there will be a lot of disappointed people tonight if it is.
Apparently 103.8 are there now live? Can anyone confirm if they are listening/what they are saying?
Apparently the concert venue is on alert - alot of banners etc have been broken and they are saying that at the moment it's not cancelled but on alert - if it's cancelled, does anyone know the policy about refunds, we bought 2 VIP tickets.
