I know Satwa tailors are well known for being able to copy designs, but has anyone ever tried copying shoes? I have a visitor coming with a pair of much loved, but well worn shoes and she's asked if I have any idea how to go about it.

Any suggestions welcome TIA

Any suggestions welcome TIA For copying shoes, especially leather ones Bangkok is best. I have had designer boots copied there exactly and my husband also had a pair of shoes copied. Fits my feet like a glove. I wouldnt trust the people here in Dubai to have that kind of skill. You have to pay attention to detail to be good at that which is rare here.

I contacted these people a while back and still intend to try them out due to my feet being what they are. http://www.italianshoefactory.com/

No help at all (sorry!), but that's why I always buy 3 pairs of shoes I really like.
