Beaches in Kuwait

In Kuwait you will find public beaches, beach parks and beach clubs that are very popular when the weather cools from the hot summer.

Beaches in Kuwait

It is common to find jet skis, swimmers and many families enjoying the sand and the sea and basking in the Kuwaiti beach. You can also be sure that refreshments are never too far away.

Public beaches

There are many stretches of sandy beaches along the Corniche where you will find people relaxing and enjoying the blue waters. Perhaps three areas are worth a seperate mention:

In Salmiya, behind Marina Crescent the beach is very popular. There are play areas, inflatable slides, grassy areas, basketball courts, a skate park and food and drink outlets. Marina Crescent too is lovely to stroll around and see the many fish coming to the surface hungry for a feed!

In Fahaheel, alongside Al Kout Mall, there is an area of beach popular with the locals for swimming, walking and of course there are many nice cafes and restaurants nearby.

Further south, you will find Salwa beach, which has play areas and pleasant views, although there are some rocky prominences.
