February is pancake month as tomorrow marks Shrove Tuesday or Pancake Day which is celebrated in the United Kingdom and some other English speaking countries, therefore we wanted to find the best places for pancakes in Dubai so we won’t miss out on our maple syrup fix!

From healthy gluten free pancakes, to mini pancakes and banana walnut toppings, Dubai has plenty of eateries which serve stacks of pancakes with a scoop of ice cream to finish. As we can’t get enough of Clinton Street Baking Company’s classic blueberry pancakes or Cocoa Room’s red velvet pancakes drizzled in chocolate sauce.

But for guilt-free indulgence and healthy eaters, ,Comptoir 102's buckwheat pancake is gluten free and topped with organic maple syrup and fresh berries. Gourmet by Kcal also offers a healthy pancake alternative with their sweet potato pancakes and homemade strawberry sauce.

1. Clinton Street Baking Company

Clinton Street Baking Co. serves classic American pancakes in Downtown Dubai and Dubai City Walk. They also have a food truck at Last Exit so you can enjoy pancakes to go. We can’t get enough of their Wild Maine blueberry pancakes topped with maple butter sauce.

Making healthy eating interesting are Gourmet by Kcal with their gluten free food and pancakes made from sweet potato mash, coconut flour, oats, almond milk, egg whites, vegan organic protein, organic honey and vanilla bean, which are surprisingly delicious!

4. Holland House Mini Pancakes

With fixed locations at Dubai Mall and Kite Beach, Holland House Mini pancakes also have travelling food trucks across Dubai. You receive 10 fluffy mini pancakes with a choice of different sauces including Nutella, lotus, peanut butter, cinnamon, maple syrup and even savoury toppings like cheese.

6. Eataly

Technically Eataly serve crepes, but this European-style pancake is probably the closest option to a traditional British pancake that’s not homemade. With a dedicated Nutella bar you can watch your pancake being made and choose your favourite toppings to go with it.

7. The Coffee Club

With coconut infused pancake dough and toppings such as caramelised bananas and ricotta, these pancakes are full of interesting flavours and delicious combinations.

8. IHOP

For classic buttermilk pancake this Pancake Day then head to American chain IHOP, with locations across Dubai. Sometimes things are best kept simple and that goes for pancakes too, so with IHOP butter, maple syrup and a scoop of ice cream you can’t go wrong.
