Inside Priyanka Chopra & Nick Jonas' Lavish Wedding
The couple pulled out all the stops for their big Indian wedding

It’s official –Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas wed on Saturday in a Christian ceremony, followed by a Hindu ceremony on Sunday. The wedding celebrations took place at the opulent Umaid Bhawan Palace in Jodhpur, India.
Although the couple are yet to share photos from their main wedding ceremonies, they have gradually unveiled snaps from the wedding weekend on Instagram –and it looks amazing!
From the Mehendi (the pre-wedding henna ceremony) to the all-singing, all-dancing Sangeet, the wedding festivities were full of colour, laughter and love. As well as some Bollywood glamour, here’s a look inside their Jodhpur fairy-tale wedding…

The Mehendi
The Mehendi calls for a joyous and exuberant celebration, as Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas began their wedding festivities in the best way.
Nick Jonas wrote “One of the most special things that our relationship has given us is a merging of families who love and respect each other’s faiths and cultures. And so planning our wedding with an amalgamation of both was so so amazing.”
He continued, “An important part for the girl in an Indian wedding is the Mehendi. Once again we made it our own and it was an afternoon that kicked off the celebrations in the way we both dreamed.”
The couple, alongside their family and friends, took part in the pre-wedding henna ceremony, as they also played cricket and baseball poolside on the luxe lawns of Umaid Bhawan.
Priyanka wore a fabulous multi-hued organdie ensemble, with embellished silk detailing by Abu Jani & Sandeep Khosla of Khosla Jani. Wearing the same label, Nick complimented the colourful bride in a pale pistachio Bakhiya kurta.
The Sangeet
The Sangeet (musical evening) took place on the magical grounds of Umaid Bhavan, with millions of fairy lights and mirror installations creating an enchanted wonderland.
There was a song and dance competition between the families, in a pre-wedding ritual that brought everyone together.
Again, Priyanka and Nick both wore celebrated Indian designers Khosla Jani for the special occasion. Priyanka stunned in a fully hand embroidered sequin sari in gold and silver, whilst Nick looked prince-like in a midnight blue sherwani.
The Ceremonies
The nuptials on Saturday were officiated by Jonas' father, Paul Kevin Jonas, as the couple exchanged Chopard rings. The couple are believed to have worn Ralph Lauren, in a tribute to the design house that brought them together.
On the Sunday the newly-weds took part in a traditional Hindu ceremony, before a huge fireworks show –and we’re assuming, another grand party.
