Great news to Armenian citizens and expats!
Effective Thursday February 1st, 2024, Armenian citizens will be allowed to enter, exit, and transit through the UAE with ease thanks to the new visa-free bilateral agreement between the emirates and the Republic of Armenia.

In addition to removing the hassle of travel paper work, Armenians can stay in the emirates for up to 180 days in a year. The same goes for Emiratis who can travel to the Asian country without a visa and remain for a maximum of 180 days.

UAE expat residents can also travel there with visa-on-arrival and explore the country, which is home to one of the oldest cities in the world tracing as far back as 782BC.
Conveniently, there are several direct flight options from Dubai and Abu Dhabi to the capital city, Yerevan, with the flights only taking three and a half hours on average.
