On Sunday morning, American actress and Dubai resident Lindsay Lohan revealed she is engaged to her boyfriend Bader Shammas in a series of adorable, heart-melting photos.
The Freaky Friday and Mean Girls star posted four photos of her and her now-fiancé in the middle of bright smiles and laughter, captioning it with: "My love. My life. My family. My future. @bader.shammas #love [ring emoji]"
Lohan's family also shared their excited reactions over the lovely news.
"I'm not crying, you’re crying," the actress' brother, Dakota Lohan, said via Instagram Story.
Who is Bader Shammas, Lindsay Lohan's new fiancé?
Lohan, who will be starring in an upcoming Christmas movie on Netflix, is all set to tie the knot with fellow Dubai resident Bader Shammas.
Shammas is a 34-year-old financier in the UAE, currently working as Assistant Vice President of Credit Suisse's International Wealth Management division in Dubai.
He studied university in the United States, at the University of Tampa and the University of South Florida, as per his LinkedIn profile.
The couple were first spotted together in public at a local pre-pandemic music festival in 2020, but otherwise keep their relationship private. Shammas himself keeps a lower profile compared to his celebrity fiancée, with a locked Instagram account of under 600 followers (at the time of publishing).
This is Lohan's second engagement, after she split up with her ex-fiancé Egor Tarabasov in 2016, who was recorded to be physically abusing her in the past.

After her childhood success on the big screen and years under paparazzi scrutiny, Lohan eventually left the United States and London, choosing Dubai as her full-time residence. It's also where she met her current beau.
"I felt so relieved when I moved everything over from London to Dubai and I saw everything in one place," she told W magazine in 2018.
"There’s a certain calmness that I find [in Dubai]. There’s no paparazzi, no cameras. That’s a big deal for me. I never considered people taking a picture 'bothering' me, but I don’t want people to misinterpret who I am as a person if they see me sneezing and they say I’m crying. I do really appreciate having the life where I can just go outside and not have to worry," Lohan added.
