The Prince of Wales has announced the engagement of Prince Harry and Ms. Meghan Markle.
Prince Harry became engaged to the American actress in London earlier this month and it has been announced that the wedding will take place in spring 2018, by a statement from Kensington Palace via Twitter.
Although we can’t wait for the pictures, we’re also a little bit gutted that the British Prince is officially off the market!
The couple’s romance has been mostly top secret after they were introduced by mutual friends in London in July 2016. However, they made their first public appearance together hand-in-hand at the Invictus Games and engagement rumours have been circling ever since.

The Queen has given her blessing to the union between her grandson and Meghan Markle, who is known for her role in the Netflix drama Suits. As Prince Harry is fifth-in-line to the throne, he was obliged to ask The Queen’s permission under the Succession to the Crown Act 2013.
Close members of The Royal Family were also aware of the engagement and the couple will live in Nottingham Cottage at Kensington Palace.
Preparations will now take place for the next royal wedding, but Markle has already started her transition into to Royal life, after shutting down her lifestyle blog and is rumoured to be leaving legal drama Suits at the end of its next season.
Meghan Markle isn’t the stereotypical choice for the world’s most eligible bachelor, as the 36 year-old is 3 years older than the Prince and is also divorced. However Meghan Markle revealed in her interview with Vanity Fair "We're a couple. We're in love” and that’s all that matters. The Queen has given her blessing, so should the rest of the world.
But, we were still hoping we could be a princess...*sigh*
