As Arabic models like Gigi Hadid, Nora Attal and Imaan Hammam are currently causing a storm on fashion week runways and effortlessly making their way to the front of magazines.

These Middle Eastern models are starring in high fashion campaigns for the likes of Marc Jacobs, Oscar de la Renta, Giambattista Valli and Chanel, as well as appearing for H&M and Victoria's Secret. As we wanted to highlight the Arab models recent success and celebrate them this International’s Women’s Day in Dubai on 8th March.

They’re not only beautiful women, but also proudly represent their Middle Eastern roots and their ability to encourage Arabic women to flourish! With a shortage of models from the Middle East, more modelling agencies are starting to scout women from the region and recognise the capabilities of Arab women.

We couldn’t be happier about a greater diversity on the runway, which has also seen Muslim women such as Imaan Hammam and American-Somalian Halima Aden break into the fashion industry. As recent fashion week collections saw more hijabs and modest fashion than ever, Arab models also impressed.

So here are 6 rising models with Middle Eastern roots that you need to keep track of…
