This week actress Blake Lively has given us a masterclass in how to style menswear-inspired fashion, with seven versatile pantsuit looks. From Gossip Girl plaid to '80s neon, Lively has traded the summer sundress for fitted suits of every shade, fabric and style –making a serious case for smart-chic dressing.
Sporting a series of slick suits, on and off the red carpet, Blake Lively proved that suits aren’t just for the office, or exclusive to menswear! Suits don’t have to be dull either, as Lively showcased sequin details, tailored shorts, a dusty rose shade we have to have and a double dose of velvet –we’re sold, can Blake Lively style us too?!
However, Lively’s love of suits isn’t out of the blue, as we suspect her recent tailored runway is to honour her latest character Emily from ‘A Simple Favour.’ Blake is currently on a promotion tour for the new crime-drama, which has clearly inspired her to become a suit connoisseur.
