Lebanese fashion designer Zuhair Murad showcased his Spring/Summer 2018 haute couture collection on Wednesday at Paris Couture Fashion Week, as Victoria’s Secret model Sara Sampaio wowed in the Middle Eastern designers runway show.
Zuhair Murad was daring with plunging necklines and shaped body suits, which exuded feminity and sparkled heavily with embellishments. Designs were almost painted onto to models as sheer bodices were decorated with bejewelled details and intricate patterns in gold and red hues.
The Spring/Summer 2018 haute couture collection is sure to give us an insight into red carpet dresses for the rest of the year, as fringed and feathered skirts and sleeves also featured throughout the show.
Of course the runway collection included a show stopping Zuhair Murad bridal gown. Murad controversially borrowed from Native American pattern-making, taking inspiration from feathers, symbols and even teepees which were used in the aesthetic of the runway.
Still, the Lebanese couturier impressed, as we’ve got more highlights from the must see couture show, including Sara Sampaio modelling in Zuhair Murad…
