There was a whole rainbow of fashion on show at last night’s Critics’ Choice Awards, with a parade of Hollywood’s most stylish stars opting for block colour gowns in brilliant hues.
From ravishing reds and bright blues to luscious lemon and lime, it was hard to pick a favourite when everybody looked so stunning.

Kristen Bell: Royal blue
Kristen Bell was serving glam Nineties vibes with her slinky, strappy blue cobalt Cushnie gown.

ASOS currently has a very similar dress, the cut-out neckline and thigh slit giving it even more of a statement.
If huge that voluminous silhouette is a bit much for you, this maxi wrap dress comes with delicate puff sleeves and a soft, floaty skirt.
Connie Britton: Lime Green
Connie Britton took a gamble with a colour we don’t often see on the red carpet but it really paid off – she looked beautiful in a custom gown by British brand Galvan.

Love this zesty look? You can get a long-sleeved version of Galvan’s Adela dress from My Theresa and it’s now less than half price.
Regina King: Purple
Regina King, who picked up the award for best supporting actress award for If Beale Street Could Talk, looked regal in a glittering purple gown with a Bardot neckline.

We love AX Paris’s similar plum coloured Bardot dress, not least because the ruched waistline and thigh split make it flattering and easy to wear.
The This is Us actress chose a stunning sequinned gown by Michael Kors, the midriff cut-outs and belt detail giving it a cool modern feel that went perfectly with her paired back hair and drop earrings – and you can do the same with PrettyLittleThing’s textured white maxi dress.
