The 2018 Screen Actors Guild Awards took place last night in California, as the awards season red carpet fashion show continues! Unlike the Golden Globes black dress code, the SAG awards displayed an array of colours, as were we particularly impressed by these Middle Eastern designs.
Lebanese fashion designers Zuhair Murad, Reem Acra, Jean-Louis Sabaji and Rami Kadi all showcased their haute couture gowns on the SAG Awards red carpet. The Arabic designers dressed stars such as Jackie Cruz, Madeline Brewer, Leslie Mann and Mary J Blige, as once again Hollywood was captivated by the style of the Middle East.
Here are the stars that opted for dresses designed by Lebanese labels at the SAG Awards 2018…
#1 Jackie Cruz in Rami Kadi
Jackie Cruz wore this showstopper dress by Lebanese-American designer Rami Kadi, as the Orange is the New Black actress swirled across the red carpet in this dramatic gown! We were wowed by the feathered ombré dress in lilac hues.

#2 Madeline Brewer in Reem Acra
The Handmaid’s Tale actress Madeline Brewer wore a nude coloured, pearl-embellished design by Beirut-born Reem Acra. The dress featured a fifties style skirt with a tailored body, as Brewer finished her look with orange shade lips and matching velvet shoes.

#3 Leslie Mann in Zuahair Murad
Dressed in a deep blue Zuhair Murad design, Leslie Mann dazzled in this embellished beaded dress. The delicate detailing paired well with the sheer element of the gown and the key-hole neckline, proving why Zuhair Murad is a red carpet professional.

#4 Mary J Blige in Jean-Louis Sabaji
Mary J Blige wore a one-shoulder monochrome gown by yet another Lebanese designer, Jean-Louis Sabaji. The flattering silhouette and contemporary design helped to create a striking look, as once again Middle Eastern designers showed off their skill and flair on the red carpet.
